The Recreational Kayaking skill level is designed to introduce the novice or relatively inexperienced kayaker to paddling Moving Water and Class I Rivers in an Open Cockpit or Sit-on-Top Non-River Kayak.

Beginner River Kayak Skills

The Beginner River Kayaking course is designed to teach participants to paddle on Class I Rivers.

Intermediate River Kayak Skills

The Intermediate River Kayaking course is designed to teach participants to paddle on Class II Rivers.

Advanced River Kayak Skills

The Advanced River Kayaking course represents the highest skill level offered and provides candidates with the opportunity to improve their whitewater skills on more challenging white water (Class III).
